I tried diligently for about a year to break into writing free lance craft articles. I got one project accepted in a magazine that is now defunct. I had high hopes for the plaque project. I got a note from the publisher saying they wanted to keep it for a period of time to see if it would fit into their plans but they sent it back when the mag died.
